The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. recognizes the benefits of S.T.E.M. based learning on a child’s future. Raising Our Children’s Knowledge by Educating Through Science, or R.O.C.K.E.T.S. is an established program hosted by many Junior Leagues across the country. Each year, events are programmed to enhance the cognitive skills of children in areas of science, technology, engineering and math while having fun at the same time.
Locally, over 5,000 children have been impacted through R.O.C.K.E.T.S. events since the Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. incorporated this programming into our focus beginning in 2017.
Join the Junior League of Corpus Christi and the La Retama Central Library for a fun day of learning! Activities will be S.T.E.M based; examples of previous activities include dry ice bubbles, earthquake tables, paper rockets, secret messages, tornadoes in a bottle, and more.
