Why Support JLCC
In 2019, the Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. celebrated 75 years of women impacting the Corpus Christi community. But as JLCC has evolved, one component has stayed true: our desire to build a better community.
The Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. has a long history training and developing its members into leaders, a main pillar of the Junior League mission, while also building a better community. Our community programs often impact some of Corpus Christi’s most vulnerable areas. This is possible through the generous donations of our sponsors, community business partners, and former members through legacy gifts and endowment campaigns.
Additionally, JLCC fundraisers, such as our annual Touch-A-Truck, provide revenue for community programs (while often acting as a community program within itself) and cover a small portion of league operating costs.
Finally, members are a main support line of the Junior League of Corpus Christi, who give their time and money through annual dues. Annual dues cover a large portion of the annual budget, further proving the dedication of members to the Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. and our community.
There are many ways to support the Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc. For more information, please contact Jessie Hutchason, our 2025-2026 Funding Development Chair, at funding@jlcc.org , or click here for information on joining the Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc.
2023-2024 and 2024-2025 JLCC TIDES
The 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 TIDES publications highlight a powerful year of impact for the Junior League of Corpus Christi, showcasing the programs, events, and volunteers who strengthened the Coastal Bend community. These annual reports demonstrate how sponsor support drives meaningful change through hands-on service, youth programming, leadership development, and community partnerships.
Across both years, TIDES celebrates:
-
Thousands of volunteer hours dedicated to STEM programming, literacy outreach, women’s leadership, and community service.
-
Major community events—including R.O.C.K.E.T.S., Christmas Tree Forest, the Unstoppable Women’s Day Luncheon, and Touch-A-Truck—which reached over 8,000+ children and families combined.
-
Innovative outreach programs, such as the Wave of Red “done-in-a-day” projects, Spring Break Backpacks feeding 1,500+ local students, and Little Free Library updates that promote literacy across Corpus Christi.
-
Growing community engagement, stronger partnerships, and an increase in corporate and foundation support.
Together, these publications tell the story of how the Junior League’s mission comes to life—highlighting real outcomes, celebrating the women leading the work, and demonstrating the incredible impact made possible by sponsors who invest in a stronger, more vibrant Corpus Christi.
